Minimum 55 gallon tank with temperature 76–82°F and pH 7.8–8.6. Use a reliable heater and test kit.
Good filtration is essential. Provide appropriate substrate and hiding spots with driftwood or rocks.
Diet & Feeding
Omnivore — cichlid pellets, frozen brine shrimp, mysis shrimp. Feed 1-2 times daily, only what can be consumed in 2-3 minutes.
