Tank Setup
Minimum 10 gallon tank with temperature 75–85°F and pH 4.5–6.5. Use a reliable heater and test kit.
Keep in groups of 10+ — schooling species that need companions for proper behavior and coloration.
Good filtration is essential. Provide appropriate substrate and hiding spots with driftwood or rocks.
Diet & Feeding
Omnivore — micro pellets, crushed flakes, baby brine shrimp. Feed 1-2 times daily, only what can be consumed in 2-3 minutes.
