Tank Setup
Minimum 20 gallon tank with temperature 75–80°F and pH 6.5–7.0. Use a reliable heater and test kit.
Keep in groups of 5+ — schooling species that need companions for proper behavior and coloration.
Good filtration is essential. Provide appropriate substrate and hiding spots with driftwood or rocks.
Diet & Feeding
Carnivore — frozen bloodworms, brine shrimp, daphnia. Feed 1-2 times daily, only what can be consumed in 2-3 minutes.
