Tank Setup
Minimum 75 gallon tank with temperature 77–86°F and pH 6.0–7.5. Use a reliable heater and test kit.
Keep in groups of 5+ — schooling species that need companions for proper behavior and coloration.
Good filtration is essential. Provide appropriate substrate and hiding spots with driftwood or rocks.
Diet & Feeding
Omnivore — sinking pellets, frozen bloodworms, snails. Feed 1-2 times daily, only what can be consumed in 2-3 minutes.
